It is a competition endorsed by SAE Mexico, where new teams has the opportunity to see closely how is developed a BAJA SAE competition and with that work with their future project for the nex competition.​

​

To the 2025 competition, teams can participate on static events presenting their design and bussiness case and participate as volunteer on dynamics events.

​

Start of registration:  June 1st 2025

Registration closure: November 6th 2025​

Benefits for BAJA SAE Mexico new teams  

​

​ - Ability to participate in static testing, including design, business case presentation, and cost report.
-Receive feedback from the static test judges, as well as design feedback related to the technical inspection of the competition rules in case if you have the roll cage finished or in CAD model.
- Participate as a volunteer during dynamic testing on Saturday and Sunday.
- Access to the pit area of the veteran teams during the competition days to see how they work on their vehicles and prepare for the static and dynamic tests.
- Access to presentations by other teams to see how they present themselves.
- Network with companies sponsoring the event.
- Talk to industry professionals who are participating as judges of the competition.

COSTS: 

​

• 1st stage: $ 6500 MXN ($320 USD) June 2nd to September 1st, this cost include faculty advisor, captain team and  5 members 

• 2nd stage: $8500 MXN ($420 USD) September 2nd to November 6th, this costs include faculty advisor, captain team and  5 members 

• The team can add extra members for the registration with a cost of $900 MXN per person. ($45 USD

You can choose from the two different payment methods described below:

1st) PayPal / Credit Card (Recommended for International Payments*) 

 

Send us an email to contact@bajasaemexico.com with copy to registration@bajasaemexico.com a request for a Paypal Link (payment with Mastercard credit, Visa, etc.) , mentioning the total amount with extra member (if it is required) for send you the Paypal link.

If your payment is successful you will receive a “Transaction ID” (i.e. 98B80387J0110390X)

*For local payments received through PayPal/Credit SAE Mexico will only be able to bill the payment to the University for the amount paid minus 5% because of PayPal commission.

When the payment is done, you will have to send screenshot or receipt of payment, along with the registration form completely filled out in its original format (excel) to the email    registration@bajasaemexico.com  with copy to:

Expect to receive confirmation of your registration and your official competition number  within 48 hours after your email has been successfully received.
